At the heart of the Formula Xi is our all-new, patent-pending, String Tension Technology. This unprecedented advancement and innovation in recurve archery allows you to adjust the string tension, which allows you to customize the feel of your limbs. By making small adjustments to the limb rockers, it effectively makes the limb feel shorter or longer, thus increasing or decreasing string tension.

There are three distinct limb rocker settings you can choose from. With the limb rockers in position number one, referred to as the Ultimate Performance Setting, you will achieve the highest level of string tension, which is optimal for those looking for a more aggressive pull through the clicker in high pressure, high adrenaline situations. On the opposite adjustment spectrum, position number three, referred to as the Ultimate Smoothness Setting, the string tension is the lowest.

This helps the limbs feel smoother through the clicker, especially during the last 1 to 2 millimeters of the draw cycle. Position number 2 is considered a hybrid setting, for those looking for a combination of performance and smoothness. While this new technology allows archers to customize the feel of their limbs by adjusting their string tension, no changes are made to the overall tune of the bow for ultimate consistency and accuracy. This Hoyt patent-pending technology is truly a break-through in recurve archery.

FORMULA PRO SERIES DOVETAIL ADJUSTMENT AND TILLER BOLT

Built to maximize accuracy, consistency and convenience, our new Dovetail Adjustment Block allows for micro adjustments for an ultra-precise tune all while the bow is strung, and the new tiller bolts create a rock-solid connection of limbs to riser.
